I went with Ros to the Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot, Surrey, which is more of a garden supermarket. In addition to all the usual garden plants and tools, they do a brisk business in cut flowers flown in from Holland. One entire building is refrigerated like a walk-in cooler, with thousands of cut flowers, mostly roses.
I took one photo of a flower arrangement that came out really well, but when I looked closely at the full-size image, I could see the cut edges of the fabric that formed the petals -- it was artificial.
